Recent Changes in Talkdesk’s Leadership

Recently, Prime Unicorn Index component Talkdesk has been changing its leadership and hiring many new executives. These hirings include William Welch as President and COO, Shane Evans as CRO, and Andrew Dubrov as CCO.

According to Business Wire, Welch will work closely with CEO Tiago Paiva to “accelerate the company’s growth and continue to build a world-class organization that delivers on white glove customer service, industry-best product innovation, and new and expanded customer relationships around the world.” His past experience includes Zscaler and Duo Security. 

Shane Evans, who is joining Talkdesk as Chief Revenue Officer, has more than 20 years of experience in building high-performing tech sales teams and was most recently interim CEO and member of the Board of Directors for MX.

Andrew Dobrov is joining Talkdesk as Chief Customer Officer, where he will lead customer success and customer support, including implementation, technical account management, and delivery partner enablement, as well as the company’s award-winning services organization. He was most recently Senior Vice President at Cohesity. Prior to Cohesity, Dobrov held leadership positions at FireEye, EMC, Veritas, and Hewlett-Packard. 

Talkdesk is a global cloud contact center leader for customer-obsessed companies. It had a valuation of over $9.7B following its last raise on 5/21/21, which included investors such as Franklin Templeton, Whal Rock Capital, Alpha Square, Viking Global, and Amity Ventures, among others.
