Just weeks after we noted its Series F filing, Anthropic has finalized its raise: the AI company secured $13 billion at a reported valuation of $183 billion, nearly tripling from earlier this year, according to a report from Bloomberg.
The financing ranks among the largest ever for an AI startup, led by Iconiq Capital with participation from Fidelity, Lightspeed, GIC, Insight, and QIA. Anthropic reports run-rate revenue has surged from ~$1B at the start of 2025 to $5B+ by August, driven by enterprise adoption of Claude and its developer tools.
We previously flagged Anthropic’s potential $10B raise and Series F share price in This Week in the Index. With the deal now complete, Anthropic solidifies its position as one of the most valuable private companies globally — and within the Prime Unicorn Index.
